Family photography Macclesfield - McCubbin Family
What a gorgeous day for sweating up a hill. The McCubbin family certainly put me through my paces exploring the lesser known spots of Macclesfield forest. I love working with families who appreciate the outdoors and the beautiful areas just on our doorstep living as we do in this beautiful part of the world.
They are certainly an active, outdoorsey family. We talked about cross-training and triathlons, and with both kids strapped into carriers, and camera equipment strapped to me, we climbed up to a fantastic viewpoint looking over Trentabank Reservoir, Macclesfield forest, and Teggs Nose.
By the time we reached the top, unsurprisingly little R was a little tired from his stomp up the hill, so I cheered up him with some races, and daddy swung him in the air for some giggles whilst his baby sister had a feed at the viewpoint.
I really enjoyed exploring somewhere new and was reminded of all the long walks that we used to do when my daughter was younger, so I’m inspired this summer to get out and about and explore more new areas when the weather turns brighter.
