Photographer's child | Wilmslow

As a child photographer you probably think it's easy for me to get fantastic natural photos of my kids.

Ah. Well. You obviously haven't heard of "photographer's child syndrome".

The problem is my children are so sick of the camera, and unlike other people's children they don't feel they have to listen to me.  It's all my own fault of course, being too desperate to get the perfect shot and getting the camera out too often.

This week I thought I'd get some of the kids just after I had finished a client's family shoot. The location and the weather was great - but they were both tired and hungry. Why do I never learn!

I tried hard, but I might have slightly lost my temper... and in the end there are really only these two images that I like.

But that's good enough. I don't need hundreds of images, just a few photos showing how they really are & that's enough to make me smile.
