for beginners

If you are a complete beginner, are not completely comfortable with using aperture-priority mode, or still a bit unsure of the exposure triangle I recommend starting with my ROCK YOUR CAMERA 3-part course.

intermediate level & beyond

If you are already using aperture-priority or another advanced camera mode and have a good understanding of exposure and your camera, I offer mentoring sessions for more intermediate level photographers.

Mentoring sessions can be on any photography subject that interests you. They are tailored to your level and your camera, and sold in 2-hour sessions and 4-hour sessions.

I’m Ellie Cotton, owner/photographer of Dandelion Photography.

Having picked up my first SLR camera in 1987, I’ve been obsessed ever since.

I started off with film cameras and developing photos in a darkroom, then moved onto digital SLR camera. In business I specialise in both family photography and commercial photography, and have had photos published in Vogue Italia, Drapers, and The Independent.

I’ve been teaching alongside running my business for over 10 years, and I love showing others the joy photography can bring.
