I’ve been shooting outdoors for over a decade so I’m used to planning around the British weather!
If you are a family that has very little availability I am happy to set both a shoot date and backup date, at no extra charge.
We don’t need sunshine - cloudy days give us great light - however I don’t shoot in the rain. You might be surprised to learn that don’t actually need to reschedule all that often as I’m so used to juggling forecasts, and only schedule one Bespoke shoot each day - so I can often find a window of weather.

We can shoot at your home, which is great especially if you a baby or very young children. If you have a large house with lots of light, or large garden/land it can be great to shoot at home. Home is a place significant to children and is meaningful in photos in years to come.
Some people prefer an outdoor location to incorporate the beautiful landscape around us. Often I will ask if there is a location significant to your family, or I have a list of locations with lots of variety.
If you live near a suitable location, we may have time to do a bit of both - home and outdoors.

Bespoke shoots are suitable for extended families - ie. if you want to include grandparents, aunts, uncles and/or cousins. However bear in mind that the more people we include, the less variety we will achieve.
The shoot is designed around you, so if you want to achieve a large family group shot, we pick a location to suit.
On the other hand, if you are a one-child family, we have time to get a large range of shots - from individual portraits, family groups, and both formal and more playful shots - as well as a variety of locations.
